3. Laying the floor & baby Hudson arrives

20th Jan - We decided to use 3mm floating flooring underlay. The subfloor was in good condition (ply) The floorboards are Tasmanian Oak sourced from a salvage place in town. These are nailed down to the subfloor.

16^th March 2014 - First Section of floor complete. I  had to keep the access to the motor which is under the floor.

16mm ply used over wheel arch. This is the support for the platform where the wood heater will go.

 

4^th April 2014 – Rear section of floor underway. A few Days before the baby arrived!

 23^rd April – Baby Hudson’s first go in the bus

5^th May 2014 – Removed the rear doors and levelled the stair well ready for the rest of the flooring.

 

6^th May 2014 – rear floor complete. Taping out some space ideas.
